Hi, I'm Alyssa McDougal

My day job is a Pediatric Dental Assistant, but my true passion is art. I love all art mediums ( not just photography) and you can almost always find me drawing or creating in some way.

Born and raised in the Clearwater area, I love the beach and being outdoors. I love using the natural light to make my photos come to life. I describe my style as eclectic, since I am always trying to find new ways of seeing, and experimenting with different techniques.

I work digitally, and with film. I love shooting large format on my 4x5 Speed Graphic. Getting a little messy is my favorite part of the process be it getting sand everywhere to get the perfect shot or smelling like a darkroom all day.

I love traveling! (and would love to travel to you!) Recent travels include : Paris, London, California, Alaska, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
